It is impossible for my house to get any cleaner so I am now going to attack the drawers.
Do all newly widowed women become clean/neat freaks ??

This is what set me off. Inspiration, some might call it that. Brilliant is what I call it !

I would like to wake up in the morning and walk over to this cafe for my morning coffee.

Picking up flowers  on the way home.

Maybe do a little shopping in the afternoon.

Then mosey on home to take a nap and get ready for the evening .

Please stop sending me emails. With photos.
You know I have asked you before, it isn't fair that you ignore what I say and just do what you want.
I know we had a long and fruitful relationship, but it had to end. really. had to.

My husband knew about us and he was mostly fine with everything. 
But then there came a day when he said ... "this has got to stop" .
And I loved him with all my heart and did whatever he wished ... so we said goodbye, you and I ..

But now, you keep sending me these emails and you know that my will power is not that strong and eventually you will wear me down.

So please ......  stop sending me emails..... With photos. 
Well... maybe you can send some now and then.... With photos.
Maybe I will see you .... soon.

Snowbound Shopping

So What Do You Do when you are snowed in and the house is clean and the laundry is done and there is nowhere to go ?
That's right ! Go Online Shopping !

A few items I found this morning that I might not be able to live without ... tell me, do you love them too ? Which ones do you like best ?

I don't even know if my iPhone will fit, it might be too old .. but what a pretty phone case!

Will it ever be Summer again ? 

Will I really go out in the warm sunshine wearing  a pair of cool sunglasses   ? 

I am not 6 feet tall. I laugh to imagine how bad I would look in this outfit.

                       Really ?? I can make my own beaded bracelet and it will look better than that !

Good Deeds

 Good Deeds

I love stories like this and I think the whole world could use a few more stories like this.
And a few more people who do good deeds .. every chance they get.

They don't have to involve sums of money, they can be just your company with someone who is stuck at home, helping with buying groceries or baby sit a young mother who needs a break.
There are so many things a person can do for someone else... all you have to do is look around you or just think what would mean something to you.

Do a Good Deed.
It will come back to you in so many lovely ways.

Ahhh , I love Maggie Smith .. I love Downton Abbey and having already seen this season, I can tell you, you are going to love it ! Love It !

I  don't know about you but I am not sorry that Dan Stevens left the show / got killed off.
He said he was bored. Personally, I found him boring.

Now, his widow can be courted by all kinds of handsome men with hopefully more of a personality than her dear departed husband and perhaps, some dashing man will sweep her off her feet and she will maybe smile !
Not those tight little grimace-like smiles but a big grin.
I know , having seen the gentleman that she might smile at ... that I would be grinning from ear to ear.
Handsome. Mucho handsome.

So be prepared , bring your tea and crumpets and let's all watch Downton Abbey tonight.
