Wanderlust

 Wanderlust is a strong desire for or impulse to wander or travel and explore the world. 

It is also something that Once you have it, it is very hard to get rid of .

I was never a big fan of wallpaper until I saw a Chinese paper that is so very beautiful. 
Then ... today ... I saw this . Perfect for a guest room.

White walls are never a bad thing.

Must Have

Although I no longer live in a home with ceilings and windows like this .. with this molding  too .. I still Must Have this look somewhere in my new home !
Even if it means miniaturizing the whole thing ~

Dead Things ... an opinion

Unless your the Great Hunter who goes on Safari every year and bags a Rhino or some such, I don't see the interest/beauty/style in putting Dead Things on your walls.

And if you are the Great Hunter ... I don't want to know you anyway.

"Living" rooms should be just that.

Where people and other creatures (Fido?) live .. so unless you are hopelessly trapped in the 1950's or have a Thing for Dead Things ... leave the antlers, skins and other sad remnants of some creatures life, out of a home for living creatures.

The Neighbors Might Wonder

The Fun part of moving into a new home is the furniture.
You can find new places for your old pieces of furniture and everything looks good again .. even better!
Then there are the few times when there is not quite enough room .. Or  the good part is when there is too much room and you need to buy more furniture.

I enjoy a good furniture shopping spree.

Todays online shopping brought me to this :

My dining room has one wall of glass and is a walk through room.
My furniture should be sufficient .. 
If not, I will shop for new dining room furniture .. like this 

Today the birds got new feeders, bees came after me, something bit me and I lived to tell the tale.
Tomorrow, I will wear a Hazmat suit and go out into the garden again.
The neighbors might wonder.

I am on the lookout for a small sofa , a sofa bed would be even better.
I don't know the stores up here, I don't know where to look first.
Thank goodness for the internet .. blogs etc.

Now .. back to online shopping ... there is this mirror I have my eye on ...
