Today it is all grey. The rain is falling, everything is wet and bedraggled and losing color fast.
The sky is grey , now there are just naked trees standing there .. the roads are slick with wet leaves.
It is a good day to order Things online and watch foreign movies .

Yes 'raining cats and dogs' here too - and most leaves off the trees now. I'm p'd off because a service guy didn't show up at the scheduled time, no call and he's now 1.5 hrs. late! I hate the way they treat customers - we really are at their mercy. It's just for a look and estimate (recaulk walk-in shower etc.) but even so it required us to be here on time ourselves and we had to put errands off, grrrrrrrr!
This afternoon I will start holiday baking - items I can freeze until serving Christmas Eve. Good day for the kitchen as much cooler and of course very wet.

Mary , I finally rebelled at the workers who charge a lot of money, it isn't like they are cheap , who never show up or show up on time.
There are too many people out there who show up on time and do a good job, to have to deal with jerks.
I baked scones. I eat one a day. I have such will power ! lol ... we won't discuss how many cinnamon rolls I eat a day.
I have been watching the Wong Kar Wai films, In the Mood For Love etc. Maybe French today .. suggest anything you like ! Feel Free !
Well...your leaves sure hung in longer than mine!
I should think that neighbourhood would look beautiful in any weather!
