Green things are good for you.

I have been eating so much asparagus, I am in danger of Asparagus Overdose.
I eat it steamed alone .. I love it on pasta .. I diced it up and mixed it with wild rice .. you can just dip it in mayonnaise and eat it by hand .. no one is looking, no one will judge. Try it.

I am not a fan of bags without straps but I made an exception for this one.
Anything but more snow ... a touch of green ivy is enough for me.

I love asparagus too - have a bunch awaiting supper prep on the kitchen island, may just oven roast and serve with aioli. I've just made a huge pot of potato and leek soup which will be filling and warming.

Hope you can get out this weekend Candice - our snow/ice is melting well with today's sunshine so perhaps tomorrow I'll venture forth. . . .somewhere!

I used to be anemic but I eat fresh spinach all the time and asparagus etc and my doctor joked that I will rust from all the iron in my blood. Which makes me very happy.
I would love the soup recipe.

I have to be careful about how much of it I eat, due to the blood-thinner I take. I love it roasted, though.

I think I will buy some tomorrow and roast it .. Kathleen, what do you serve it with ? I don't eat meat .. usually I just have it with pasta or rice ..
