Get out the White Paint

Basically, this is my new kitchen.
Without the shelves, mine has an entire wall of windows going round and cupboards.
I have to do something with mine.
I have a feeling that painting the brown wood cupboards white, will do the trick.
My husband will be so excited to hear I want to do some painting ( not) ...
