Which set off all kinds of longing to be in Paris.
I want to have coffee in a cafe along the Boulevard St Germain, around the corner from our hotel on rue Jacob.
I want to shop in the little boutiques in the Marais and look at antiques and go to Deyrolle and see the stuffed things. My husband isn't so excited about that.
I want to shop and eat and only hear French ...
In the evening, we will walk along the Quai and cross one of the bridges and go to a concert.
Then we will have a wonderful dinner of mussels and all sorts of French food, followed by wonderful French chocolate.
Then we will walk home, saying goodnight to the Eiffel Tower as we pass.

We went every year, sometimes twice a year .. it is time to get into that habit again :)
