Sleeping

In an old house, perhaps in the woods or at least in the country, a cozy bedroom is important. A warm place to snuggle in at night and listen to the wind blow and feel safe and warm.

When the wind blows or the lightening flashes, pull the drapes closed and read a good book .. and wake to sunshine.

A large bed, in case there are wee ones who want to hop in bed with you in the mornings or just so that loved one next to you has plenty of room to spread out and not get blamed for hogging the bed ..

A fireplace in the bedroom is icing on the cake. French doors leading to the gardens is perfection.

Oh...you posted some of the most dreamy of bedrooms. I feel so very fortunate that our home in Houston has a fireplace (although not on often)and has a door that opens out to the pool. French doors would of been something we would of loved to have done but now it's for sale and hoping someone else will have the vision. Boy I'm feeling sleepy now!!! Hope you've had a good week thus far? All my best to you x Deb
